Some of our service providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where we transfer personal data abroad we require the recipient to provide a level of protection consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, through contractual safeguards or other lawful mechanisms, and we will tell you where this affects your data.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above. Financial and tax records are generally kept for the period required by Nigerian law. Account and support records are kept while your account is open and for a limited period after closure to handle disputes, claims and legal obligations. Content on a terminated Service is deleted in line with the Terms of Service, subject to backup cycles that are overwritten on a rolling basis.

8. How we keep your information secure

We use measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit, hashed passwords, access controls with role-based permissions, activity logging for administrative actions, and separation of production and test environments. Only staff who need your information to do their jobs can access it, and they are bound by confidentiality duties.

No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Nigeria Data Protection Commission and affected individuals as required by law.
