Email questions, answered
Do I need a domain first?
Yes. Business email runs on a domain you own. Register one with us (and get the free plan), or use a domain registered elsewhere.
How is the price worked out?
Each plan has a price per mailbox. Three mailboxes on Mail Pro cost three times the per-mailbox price, billed together on one invoice.
Who can use the free plan?
The free plan is for domains registered or transferred to SiloLobby. It includes up to three webmail mailboxes, so you can try professional email at no cost.
Will my emails go to spam?
We set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your domain and send from a server with a clean reputation, which is what Gmail and Outlook check. Your own sending habits matter too: business email is for person-to-person mail. For newsletters, use our email marketing service.
Can I move my existing emails across?
Yes. Contact support and we will help you move mail from your current provider.
Will it work with Outlook and my phone?
Yes. On Mail Lite and above, Outlook, Apple Mail, the Gmail app and most other apps set themselves up from your address. Mail Pro and Premium add instant push sync.
Is this the same as the email in my hosting plan?
No. Hosting email lives on your website's server. Business email is a separate service with more storage, calendars and push sync, and it keeps working even if you move your website.
